Following a trial that began in late May in Vancouver Supreme Court, a jury returned verdicts of guilty 10 charges faced by Trevor James Fontaine.

The charges, including aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, unlawful confinement and uttering threats, were laid after an attack in Vanderhoof in December of 2003 left the victim, a 24 year old mother of two, permanently paralyzed.

The jury's findings came back June 22nd.

Fontaine will be back in court on Wednesday, July 5th as the matter proceeds to the sentencing phase.
