“I’m still Chairing the task force right now, so I’m still active, but I’ve indicated interest in stepping down,” says Jago.

Jago, who retires as President of UNBC at the end of this month, says there is as yet no time frame attached to his leaving the position.

???????? ... and who in the community has been made aware of who is on the task force, when it has met, and what it has done to date????

Another secret society???????
Hey, lets get Brian Skaken on as the Chair. It's another great opportunity for Brian to issue press releases about anything and great exposure. Brian loves that kind of stuff.
I trust Jago has no faith in himself to "clean" the air.
Initially, I was not too keen on Skakun, but I am capable of not having a mind set on a first opinion.
I now believe he has the courage of his convictions. I do not think the press influences him one way or another.
Some people just have no respect for honesty-but I, for one, do not believe Brian acts with the intent to simply increase his popularity.
He is one who will eventually "stand out in the crowd."
Give him time.
Is this the first move by Jago to position himself to move on to the Coast, so he can rub shoulders with all the intellectuals down there. Its pretty slim pickings in Prince George for intellectual equals, so once the job is gone, then its time to move on.

Lets see what happens in the next year or so.
