A good team you say. Ok I won't argue that point as I don't know them.
BUT DO THEY KNOW HOW TO PLAY HOCKEY or will they continue their fighting ways?
"Fighting ways", what are you talking about there dude. Hockey has the odd fight. Which is good.

the cats will rule this year.
Spanky, show me in the rules for hockey where fighting is ok....
Seems to me there is a penalty for it....It is not allowed but there are way too many people who have condoned it and now it is accepted as a "GOOD" thing???
if I were a ref or commisioner they would not like my penalties....
I respect your opinion that you think it is ok... I don't agree.
So lets agree to disagree.
As mentioned in the other thread, gofaster, there are other sporting events which might be more to your liking, like figure skating.

Yes, there is a penalty assessed for fighting, but there are also penalties assessed for tripping, high sticking, etc., so what's your point?
MrPg at least I don't try to be something I aint..you just go prance on your little pansy stage
gogo, hockey is a man's game. maybe some field hockey would be better for you. women only and you guessed it, no fighting. beat it loser, this is an old and rather lame argument.
So you are entitled to your thoughts and I to mine.
When they clean up their act I will consider watching again .
If you want to watch the violence go for it.
I am not telling you not to. So what is your problems.
Blah blah blah. The way you talk, it's like you've never watched hockey in your life. It's a great game, you should look into it someday.
Your entitled to your opinion Pg and I to mine.
I am not judging you so get off my back.
Nobody's judging you either. I just find it funny that after some vague somment about 'being something I ain't' and to go prance around on a stage that you believe that I am somehow 'on your back'. Thanks for the laugh, buddy.
Fighting is something that belongs in hockey and I think with the recent rules changes in the NHL and soon to be at all levels, the powers that be are trying to clean up the game.

It's a tough row to hoe as on one hand some people just seem to go to the games for the fights while on the other hand, some fans deplore the practice and will never attend. Some will argue that fighting prevents cheap shots from occurring while others will tell you fighting increases the level of violence.

Not an easy question to answer.
