The Clinton Detachment has released the name of the young woman killed in a crash on  Highway 97 north of Clinton yesterday. 18 year old Dallas Caroline MacPhee of Kamloops was killed in the crash and has been identified as the driver of the stolen vehicle. 

The passenger, who has been identified as 27 year old Mindy Florence Letendre of Grande Prairie, has been released from Kamloops Hospital and  has been charged with Posession of Stolen Property over $5,000.

The story began with a the theft of a vehicle in Grande Prairie on the weekend, then there were two fill and flee gas thefts, one in Prince George another near 100 Mile House.   (see full story).

The investigation continues and invloves RCMP detachments from Grande Prairie to Chetwynd, through Prince George to 100 Mile House and Clinton.
