Prince George resident Ron Colebank says he has been told by the Dease Lake RCMP that he, along with another couple from Prince George and a couple from Williams Lake, will be getting their firearms returned to them.

Colebank says when he talked to the RCMP they said they would be returning the rifles, “Soon" after they have had a chance to talk to the Crown Prosecutor's office.

Colebank was among  a group of hunters who had their  firearms seized recently.  The group was returning from a hunting trip along the Stikine River a little over a week ago, when an RCMP officer seized their guns in Telegraph Creek saying that they did not have a proper PAL, and in some instances the guns were not registered.

Colebank says he hopes the group doesn’t have to go back to Dease Lake to claim their rifles.

Better to drive up to Dease Lake and pick them up than have Ramboo deliver them.
That's right...if Rambo comes to your house, he might uncover another dastardly crime. Like being parked 2" too far from the curb, or having worn out windshield wipers. Better put your driver's licence in your pajamas, in case he comes at 2 am and wants to see that too.
