Prince George Cougars scoring woes continued as the visiting Swift Current Broncos blanked the Cougars 4 nothing. Broncos goalie Kyle Moir blocked 26 shots for the shutout. The Broncos held period leads of two and three nothing. Centre Kyle Bortis led the visitor’s attack with one goal and one assist. The Cougars outshot Swift Current 12-5 in the third period but could not solve Moir. Scott Bowles turned aside 17 Swift Current shots in a losing cause.

Shutout in back to back games, the Cougars now head on the road for six consecutive games beginning Friday night in Medicine Hat.

• Cougars start a road trip that starts with a visit to Medicine Hat on the 13th
• Cougars then visit Lethbridge on the 14th
• Cougars visit the Kootenay Ice on Sunday the 15th
• Cougars visit Kelowna on the 18th then head to the U.S. for back to back games on the 20th and 21st  with a visit to the Tri City Americans.
• Cougars are back home Friday October 27th, when they host Saskatoon.
