Toll Free Phone Line for Road Information

DriveBC has added a new feature, a toll free phone line so you can get  road conditions simply by calling 1-800-550-HWYS ((1-800-550-4997)

The  line used to cost 75 cents a call, not anymore.  You can call that number from anywhere in North America.

This is the latest project by DriveBC which  also  nearly doubled its highway web cams since July, bringing the total number to 70. 

Throughout the North, there are five cameras north of the Begbie Summit ( there is one at the summit)  they are:

• 37 kms south of Williams Lake,
• Dragon Lake Hill in Quesnel, there is
• one between Houston and Smithers,
• one in Smithers,  and
• one at the Taylor Hill outside Fort St. John.
