Brandon Wheat Kings scored six unanswered second period goals in a 9-2 rout of the Prince George Cougars. Brandon led one nothing after the first period. The Cougars Vladimir Mihalik scored early in the second period before the Wheat Kings responded with six consecutive goals.  Cougars goalie Real Cyr was chased to the bench for Jordan White after Brandon grabbed a 3-1 lead. The Cats Ty Wishart scored in the third period for Prince George. Dustin Kohn led the Wheaties with a five-point night.
