Benson and Relay Teammates Race in Italy

UNBC student Jacqui Benson of Prince George and her Canadian teammates, Rhonda Sandau of Canmore and Christine Bisson of Quebec City finished 9^th out of 14 teams in the 3x5 K Classical/Free cross country ski relay today at the University Games in Italy.

Benson skied to a 6^th place effort in the opening leg of the relay. Belarus captured gold in the third ladies cross ski event of the Winter Universiade. Next up is the 5K pursuit on Wednesday.
