Janet Morris Reade, who  has been executive Director  of Downtown Prince George, will be leaving the  city, possibly  as early as the beginning of May.  Her husband has  accepted a promotion and that will require the couple to move to Vancouver.

Morris Reade  is still working hard  trying to improve Downtown Prince George, just last night she appeared before City Council during budget deliberations, reminding them the time is now to  go ahead with a streetscape beautification project.  The  property owners  would pay  one half of the project, and she told Council they have the financial means to do so.  " A beautiful downtown is  something investors like to see" she told  Council.

"I think we will start the process of looking for my replacement very soon" she says.

Downtown Prince George will hold its annual general meeting on the 27th of this month at which time a Board of Directors will be chosen.

Well good luck to her , whom ever she is.

Have fun in vancouver.
"A beautiful downtown is something investors like to see".

We could hire the fibreglass bear people to design and build the world's largest fibreglass condom wrapper.

Just make sure it's visible from Silly Hall.
