Double Murder in Dawson Creek

The bodies of a man and a woman were discovered in an apartment in Dawson Creek back on February 7th, but RCMP are only now confirming the double murder.

The victims have been identified as 47-year-old Allan Terrance Best and 37-year-old Donna Marie Taylor.  Police say autopsies have confirmed the deaths as homicides, but no further details are being made public.

Corporal Darren Traichevich says the pair was last seen alive in Dawson Creek on Saturday, February 3rd and police are asking anyone with information pertaining the victims’ activities around, or prior, to that date to contact the detachment.

Traichevich says the "E" Division Major Crime Unit, along with the Forensic Identification Section are working with the Dawson Creek Detachment to further this investigation.
