This down time gives us time to think how important and complicated our tax system is, and how important it is when you are waiting for a refund. Obviously, this who was affected the most.

Those who owe money will not be concerned or worried about any delays on the part of CRA. Chester Ps. Anyone receive a T4 slip for volunteer services you provided in the past year. (Taxable Benefit if you received anything of value in lieu of your time volunteered) Where will it end?
Now wouldn't it be really nice if the entire system crashed and deleted all records, and CCRA would have to take OUR word against theirs? Mind you the ways tax laws are set up, the burden of responsibility always falls on the citizen.

I'm surprised they haven't taxed our excrement.
