Police Looking for Man In Hart Break and Enter

A Penticton man is in custody and Prince George RCMP continue to look for a second  suspect following a break and enter  in the 2900 block of the Hart Highway on the weekend.

Police say they got a call   Saturday  from a person whop said two males were heading into the garage of a residence  but the  home's residents were known to be out of town.  The caller indicated they thought they spotted a gun.  Police responded  and  found a truck backed  into a property.

The truck left the scene,  eventually  stopping at the dead end of Bedard Road.  One suspect was arrested, another fled on foot and police are still looking for him.

Police searched the truck for the  weapon  the caller  thought he had spotted.  They  found ammunition, and a pellet rifle near the  vehicle, a 30.06 with scope  and a cross bow in camouflage case were  found on the ground, and there was a stolen  children's quad in the back of the pick up.

A 31 year old Penticton man is facing several charges, the search for the second suspect continues.
