The Mayor of Quesnel, Nate Bello , says a city employee has been fired  and the RCMP criminal investigation unit has been called in  to look into improprieties  in the purchase of supplies in that city.

Mayor Bello says "We are in the process of doing a financial audit in the department , and that along with an RCMP

investigation,  will determine where we go from there."
