The man who was the last spike in the development of a medical program at UNBC has now received his dues.

If for no other reason, Charles Jago should have been honoured with the Order of Canada for his tireless efforts in making health care more accessable for Prince George residents by spear heading the development of a medical school.

A year or so ago, I nominated Charles for the Citizen of the Year in Prince Goergre and while at the time it was quietly said that a lot of the work he was doing on the med school was on "company time"  I knew for a fact that wasn’t the case in every instance .

There were a lot of people who agreed with me and it is very nice to see that they have carried the torch much further.

Congratulations to you Charles, I’m proud of you and so should the whole community.

By sharing a vision you were able to make the access to health care in this region just a bit easier.

In the future the fruits of your labor with definitely show.

And Oh! Yes! , Mary, the wait was worth it

I’m Meisner, and that is one man's opinion.
