More B.C. Forest Fire Fighters are on their way east.

64, including 1 from Prince George,  20 from Hazelton, 20 from  Telkwa and one from Terrace, are on their  way to Val d'or Quebec to help battle  forest fires.  The balance of the crew  are from Vernon,  and the Kamloops area.

This crew leaves today,  and a crew sent earlier this month  (141 firefighters ) to battle fires in northern Ontario will be  coming home this weekend.

The  team heading  out today will be in  Quebec for up to 19 days.   Eastern Ontario and Quebec is experiencing a warming and drying weather
trend, with a lightning storm that moved through the area on Thursday causing a number of fire starts.
