Integris Credit Union has been approved to  set up a new, larger financial institution at the new River Point Plaza at Highway 16 West and Ferry Road.

The current zoning  sets a maximum size for financial institutions, and Integris would like to move out of its Parkwood location, and into a larger site.  The company  says this will allow  them to better serve their customers as they already have one  location in the downtown area.

That downtown site would remain (see previous story).

Prince George City Council gave the request unanimous approval.

River Point ... Summer Place .....

Who is naming these places?

Summer place has a northern entry to the building without sun ....

River Point isn't on the point of a river ....

Spin, spin, spin ... lovin' the spin we're in.
Hey! They coulda moved into the soon to be old Brick Store downtown. Lotsa room fer their dough there. Ooooh! Downtown. There's a word to avoid if you want to improve or enlarge your business.
The Credit Union had the Downtown location on 6th Avenue when they built the New Building at Parkwood.

What we have here in a Management Decision Error, wherin they located at Parkwood and didnt make any money. So they will now move to the Old Airport, location. If they were making big bucks at Parkwood they would never move.
"Ice-bound Hell-hole Place" & "Uninhabited Wasteland Gate" just don't have the same ring.
