Thieves  got away with a couple of big rigs from the Inland Kenworth Compound on Quinn Street South overnight.

Prince George RCMP say  two Kenworth semi trucks were stolen.  One is  red with  sleeper unit , no trailer,  and is valued at $160 thousand dollars.   There is no licence plate on that unit.

The other semi is grey with a logging trailer.   The  B.C. plate on the semi is T34009, and plate number 89779B  associated to the trailer. That unit is valued at $180 thousand dollars.

Police say there will likely be front end damage to one and possibly both units.

Anyone with information on the stolen  vehicles or the break in is asked to contact police at 561-3300.

Thieves are a reality. How we deal with them will determine how effective our deterrants are. How about working off the value of their thefts? Chester
That's OK. Once they see the fuel bill for those trucks, you can consider them as "being punished".

They'll probably even want to return them.
