Local Couple Wins $12 Million

We knew   the winning ticket for  the  Lotto Super 7  draw on Friday  was sold in Prince George.  We now know the ticket was purchased by a  Prince George couple.

The couple  showed up  at  at Save On Foods in College Heights  this morning to verify their ticket. The two are now on their way to Kamloops to claim their  $12 million dollar prize.

The winners names have not yet been released.

Glad it was won in PG by residents of PG. Good for them!
I know a friend of mine who won 75 grand in 2005. He's from PG but it never made the headlines.....oh well.....but it couldn't have happened to a better guy, he needed the cash to pay off some bills and now he's going great. I wish the same to the lucky couple.
$12 million dollars? Wow !!! That is more than I make in a year !!!!!
