Sentencing Hearing Resumes For Kalmokoff Killer

The pre-sentence hearing continues this hour for Vernon Kyle Wilson,  He is the young man who entered a guilty plea in the  death of Candace Marie Kalmokoff.  Her body  was discovered in a  Prince George alley  south of 15th Avenue on New Year’s Day in 2006.

The details of her death are now being revealed. 

The Court has been told how Wilson and Kalmokoff were  passionately kissing. She broke away and  refused  further advances.  Wilson  threw her on the bed and strangled her to death.  He then had sex with the dead body, after which he tried to  cover up the death by  moving her body to the alley where he tried to set it on fire.
