The City of Prince George is being asked to take part in the Community Crash Reduction Challenge for the month of October.

Sponsored by ICBC, the Insurance Corp claims that according to our stats, in October there will likely be 489 crashes, and 88 people will be injured.

By agreeing to be part of the challenge, the City could be in line to win a $35 thousand dollar road safety grant. But in order to get the money, drivers in Prince George would have to show the greatest reduction in crashes in like communities.

ICBC is also offering rewards for individuals, up to $35,000 to put towards a new vehicle. Full details are available at zerocrashmonth.icbc.com

This is no challenge for this city.
This is a shoe in!!!
But for only $35,000.00??
Hardly worth the time.
Better to deal in millions.
More effective!!
Gets more publicity.
