A court date has been set for the man accused in connection with a hidden camera in a Prince George Airport washroom.

An investigation was launched several months ago after an employee of one of the airlines spotted a camera in the women’s washroom.

50 year old Ron Ballard of Prince George is facing one count of voyeurism and will appear in court in early November.

With all the video and other media available on the open market, why would this guy bother? Maybe it is this new craze about reality shows? This is one venue where reality is best left unseen.
Jeepers Creepers, what a story!
Creep is an understatement, when it comes
to violations such as this. He should
clearly be put on the sex offenders
registry. How is it that this type of
offense can occur in a public secured
building, such as an airport??? This is
a premeditated sex offense. What will it
lead to next...from him? We need to remember the name Ron Ballard. Its good
that Opinion 250 is following up.
What a perverted sicko..
What hasn't been fully looked at IMO is how does this guy get away with this for three years before being caught in the act, all the while having full access to all parts of the airport as a no-bid contracted outside employee advising the airport on many surveillance possibilities? Its beyond comprehension. Did they do a back ground check before hiring a guy to such a sensitive position. This wasn't just some sicko off the street, but rather a guy hired by the airport authority, which is how he gained the access he required to set up his camera's. After he was caught by another airport employee the airport security let him work another couple of hours before finally arresting him only after the RCMP arrived on scene. Meanwhile, how much evidence was erased and destroyed. You can bet that if it were anyone else in any other airport this would be considered a major class 1 security breach. How many women in three years used those washrooms, both employee and public? How can the public be sure this is as far as this guys bold perversions go?
