Prince George In Line for Special Energy Efficiency Funds

The City of Prince George  is one of 14 communities  selected to  join the  Community Action on Energy and Emissions (CAEE) program.

The  selection means Prince George will benefit from some funding to  become more energy efficient and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.  

There are  44 municipalities and First Nations  taking part in the program which the Province hopes to  expand to 50 by  2010.

Prince George  could receive  up to $25 thousand dollars to reflect the  City’s  commitment to conserve enrgy, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and develop new policies.

But who will enforce all these new policies?
