Regional District Recognized for Contribution to Northern Medical Trust

The University of Northern B.C. has presented a special certificate to the Regional District of Fraser Fort George for its donations to the Northern Medical Trust. 

The Trust has reached its initial goal of $6 million dollars, and the University’s Director of Communications Rob van Adrichem  says  he is already  getting calls from other universities on how to make their similar “trust”  as successful.

The trust helps medical students with living costs if needed.

This year,  there  are 32 students enrolled in the program, and one half are from northern B.C.
