Teresa Layne Senner will appear in court Friday morning (May 20th) for a sentencing date after a jury found her guilty of manslaughter . She had been charged with second degree murder in the stabbing death of Vanderhoof teacher Norman Wicks. He died in his Vanderhoof home in November of 2002. The jury had heard testimony from Pathologist Dr. Jennifer Rice who said Wicks had died of a single knife wound in the crease of the groin. During the trial before Mr. Justice Glen Parrett, the jury heard evidence that at the time of the incident, Wicks had relationships going on with five women, including Senner.
