Prince George, B.C. - The inquest into the death of Donald Dwayne Lewis has been adjourned at the request of the family. The inquest was to start on Monday in Williams Lake.
Lewis died on August 13, 2006 following an altercation with the Williams Lake RCMP near McLeese Lake.
McLeese Lake locals say the 43 year old had been camping on the side of the road. At the time, the RCMP issued a release saying they had responded to "a call of a suspicious male camping in an area about 2 kilometres norheast of Highway 97 in the area of Mcleese Lake , B.C. "
The rescheduled dates for the inquest will be announced once the dates have been confirmed.
