Riders Take Championship Home

It has almost been twenty years since the Grey Cup has been in Saskatchewan. 

Although this will not go down as the one of the most memorable Grey Cup games in history, Rider Fans have been waiting for this moment since 1989. 

Mosaic Stadium in Regina will no doubt be covered in green as ecstatic fans welcome home their champions after a 23-19 victory over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers Sunday in Toronto. 

This is only the third time that Saskatchewan has brought home the Grey Cup.

They dump the NDP after more than a decade of rule. The price of wheat, potash, uranium, is at record highs in the last year. The Riders pull it off!! Gotta like the flatlanders..its payback time.
