Damage is estimated at between $5,000 and $7,000 dollars in a rash of vandalism on areas schools over the weekend.
The vandals targeted Buckhorn, Pineview, Blackburn Elementary, Malaspina, John McInnis, and Carney Hill, Highglen, Quinson and Harwin schools.
In most cases windows were broken with either stones or blunt objects.
In one case a home vent was badly damaged.
School Board officials say it is believed the damage down in the south end of the city was likely caused by one group , as to whether they were involved in the other instances in the city is not known.
