School District 57 Superintendent D ick Chambers says it is very difficult being caught in the middle between the teachers and the provincial government in the dispute over wages in the province.
" We have a good relationship with the teachers and we hope to have it that way when this thing is over" said Chambers who was saying that ,"We are prepared , the teachers have given us notice that they will withdraw supervisors duties on Wednesday and we have the principals on side “.
‘It will be pretty much business as usual “said Chambers.
On October 11th there will begin a period of rotating strikes and we expect our fair share.
Chambers said "We have a broken negotiating system and we will have to look at trying to fix it in the future in the meantime we hope this labor problem will go as smoothly as possible. "
