No one was injured after a Northern Spirit  bus rolled into the ditch on its side near Summit Lake shortly after 6:30am Sunday. The bus was returning from picking up workers from the Polar sawmill .

The bus had passengers on board but as yet we are unable to determine just how many, however no one was injured.

Another bus was dispatched to the scene to take charge of those passengers left stranded.

There are suggestions mechanical difficuties  were a cause in the crash. According to one person riding on the bus, the lights went off suddenly and the driver was unable to see the road.

Yikes, thats happened to me. Is it a Ford bus? It may be the light switch, for on/off and rotary dimmer control. Said device also momentarily also cut all power to my vehicle. Also weird is that these attacks happen mostly in winter. I replaced the switch and all is well. But better yet, bring it to Ford and document the problem, just in case.
