National Hotel up for auction  in a week.

The National Hotel  on First Avenue in Prince George, will be on the auction block on December 18th  as part of the unreserved Ritchie Brothers  Auction  set for that date in Prince George.

The Hotel has 32 rooms., a lounge, a restaurant,  barber shop and  was most recently assessed at $653,000.

At the last auction,  the Loghouse Restaurant and camping ground at Tabor Lake  (eleven acre property) sold for $875 thousand dollars.   Previous to that,  Baldy Hughes, (aka Moose Srprings Resort) was purchased by  an Alberta buyer for  less than a million dollars.

Lots of space to park bikes... three ways to exit quickly... train depot across the street for those really big shipments... ideal spot.

What a perfect spot for the new so called Homeless Shelter, do you think our councilers could clue in befor the 4th readilng , The Backpacker site could be turned into condos for the working poor and people with disabilities.
