Prince George, B.C. – The Salvation Army’s Kettle campaign and Christmas fundraising in Prince George has fallen short  of its target.

The goal was $175 thousand dollars, and  it looks like $169 thousand was collected.

The Salvation Army wants to offer a special thank you to all who donated their time to man the kettles and keep the bells jingling.

The  complete tally  of donations will be available in a few days.

I would also like to thank everyone who took the time to man the kettles. The best gift is of their time.

I would like to know how the Tree of Lights on the Coast Inn of the North did as far as fundraising. I expect it exceeded it's annual goals, as this year was the best year ever according to Bruce Kirk of the Salvation Army. Hopefully, it made up for the shortfall from the kettles. Chester
We can still make up for the shortfall, it's not too late to give.
