Fog or Smog?
They should have added "stinky" fog!
Does the Mare know about this record?

Cheers
You people have no idea what smog is. Try Vancouver or, better yet, Los Angeles.
I wonder if they accounted for the fact that much of our fog is man made, LOL.
How can we be the only location thats not close to a large open body of water? Must be man made. We should be so proud.
The weather readings are taken at the airport. I have spent a lot of time up there and have noticed because of the pulp mills it has been foggier op there more often than in town. So what is correct?
The confluence of two rivers represents a large body of open water, one would think.

It takes a long time for the fog to clear from the bowl area - when the outlying areas at a higher altitude are already enjoying sunshine and clean air.

The heaviest fog surrounds City Hall!

;-)
Heaviest fog???? Is that the stuff that vaporizes from heavy water?
It takes a long time to clear the fog around your bowl ?
Sudbury is near water, nice try.

But you are going in the right direction. Obviously we have something in our air that helps the natural fog develop.

So did London!!!

"Experts with the Central Meteorological Station said the heavy fog that blanketed north China including Beijing Thursday morning is a natural weather phenomenon in this season."

Perhaps the heavy fog followed the Mayor home to City Hall after his China visit?

:-)
Maybe we can get those bird killing wqindmills and make them so they blow all the crap air to Alberta.
This cant be good news for the Airport Authority who's selling P.G. Airport as basically fog free for most of the year.

I beleive their figures were 7 days per year (average) when planes couldnt land.
I lived in Kelowna for a year in 2004 and the fog is horrible down there in the winter, worse then P.G! At least in P.G and the surrounding area the fog lifts in the afternoon letting some sun in.
