P.G. Newspaper Fined

The Prince George Citizen has been found in Contempt of Court and fined.

Supreme Court Justice Ian Meiklem ruled an article written in the paper last spring, created a risk of prejudice in the trial of Trevor Fontaine.

The paper was fined $10,000.00, while reporter Frank Peebles was fined $1,000.00 and Citizen Associate Editor Randall Heidt was fined $1,000.00
