Just as the National and American Leagues move thier way towards the World Series, the City of Prince George is getting set to officially open the new baseball stadium at Carrie Jane Gray park.
The new 1.7 million dollar facility was built to provide a new home for local baseball and was also designed and built at National Baseball standards to host future National and Provincial events.
The Stadium can seat up to 450 in the covered grandstand, has state of the art lighting for night games and exceptional turf, grounds and facilities that compliment the park.
To celebrate the completion of the new facility, Senior Men’s Baseball, Prince George Youth Baseball and the City of Prince George are inviting the community to the official opening this Saturday (October 8th) from 3:00pm – 4:00pm.
