It's possible the Campbell government could do away with mandatory retirement at age 65.
The Premier's Council on Ageing and Seniors Issues, will analyze the idea, and present a full report expected this time next year.
The seniors population in B.C. is expected to climb from the current mark of 13% to about 25% over the next 25 years.
B.C. is not alone on this issue, Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, P.E.I and Manitoba are already in line with that plan.
