The Prince George Cougars were fighting with fire and finally they got burnt and it is to the Kamloops Blazers advantage. The Cats were eliminated from the playoffs by their own undoing. The Cougars fell 5-2 on home ice to the Vancouver Giants, giving the Blazers the final playoff spot in the West. Kamloops gets the last post season birth even though they lost their 8th consecutive game, dropping a 4-2 decision in Prince Albert. Well guys I have been pretty hard on you this year.
But with a team owner that CAN'T STAND HOCKEY, I now have some empathy for you all.
Hope you have better luck next year.
This team needs more than luck. It needs
good coaching and management and a clear focus. Whats the chances. Fan base is flat and will never get much higher than this years average of less than 3000 fans.

Location, Location, Location, Prince George is not the location for a WHL Team. To much travel and a depressing town in winter. They should pack up their bags and leave town and free up the space at the MultiPlex for the Spruce Kings and other venues. This would save us mega bucks.

If we didnt have such a severe case of **Big Shottism** in this town they never would have been here in the first place.
