Prince George -   Two overdue sledders, both experienced are safe and sound after an RCMP plane was dispatched into the Torpy River area to search for the two early Sunday morning.

The pair failed to return from their run last night promoting a search by family and friends. Both men are experienced in the outdoors. The search was called off last night due to heavy snow but shortly after 9.40am this morning they were located safe and sound.

They went missing in the area known as, " the Burn" , or, " the farm"  of the Pass Lake Rd.

Did they spend the night in the nice cabin at the burn?
The Burn, The Farm and Pass Lake Road
covers alot of territory. They are all seperate areas quite a distance, by road,
apart from each other. At least these 2 are
safe & not under 10' of snow. This year has been exceptional for snow, first year in a long time that I can remember the Pine Pass closed due to avalanche. Let's
all be careful out there, no slope is worth dying for.
Amen.
I second that
Especially with all the new wet snow PG just got. Be careful out there!
