Cache Creek is considered Northern?????????????
"Downtown Revitalization Plan – Village of Valemount"

Will they have to get a downtown before they use those funds?

;-)
"Commercializing Wood Concrete Research – University of Northern BC "

I still have to scratch my head with this one. $20,000 attached to a total project amount of about $200,000.

There is nothing new about this use of wood. In addition, transportation costs make it prohibitive to manufacture such prodcuts here as opposed to large urban centres where the product can be absorbed by a larger construction activity.

A few of many links available.

On top of that, the Exploration Place has information about a company that produced wood aggregate concrete in PG many decades ago. I believe they have pictures of buildings built using that product.
Owl. You seem to forget that none of these projects become world renouned until they are tried in Prince George BC.
