Hangem high
Cryogenically freeze him until we find a cure for frostbite.
The courts will get lots of money for dealing with this guy (unless he pleads guilty)
How much has this turd cost us already, does anybody keep track of the costs right from the start? Now we will have to pay to defend him, and then keep him safe and healthy for the rest of his life. Just wondering too, while the government is looking after Mr. Schoenborn's every need, are they covering the funeral expenses for his children? I bet not.

The courts don't get lots of money dealing with guys like this, the courts cost us taxpayers a lot of money to deal with guys like this.
Lawyers on the other hand make a lot of money off guys like this whether he pleads guilty or not. In this case I bet he will get a legal aid lawyer and that will cost us taxpayers even more.
That being said everyone has the right to representation while involved in the justice system no matter how screwed up it is.
On the Globe & Mail website people are not permitted to comment on this news item. In my mind it says that since it is "before the courts" yer not allowed to pass yer own judgement. Are we here at Opinion 250 exempt? Jest wunderin'. Any way I doubt that "the court of public opinion" will neither help or hinder this guys case.
Who is saying we are not allowed to comment, the courts? I don't get it. Perhaps the Globe and Mail themselves are not allowing anyone to comment on their website about this story. Have yet to hear a court ordered (do not comment) order out there.
No one is saying we are not allowed to comment. It is just my understanding that when an person or company is before a judge and/or jury, the press is not allowed to comment other than stating facts pertaining to what was said in the courtroom. Not some dumb ass remarks from a ninny or two out in public. Something like swaying and/or influencing the jury maybe. There is a rule about it. Written or unwritten, there is still a rule about it. So there!
