Rona Expanding in Quesnel

Quesnel BC. - A contract worth $448,500 has been awarded to Cottonwood River Contracting of Quesnel for major street construction to make way for the development of a new Rona bldg center on the property located south of the Sandman Hotel and Extra Foods on the south side of Quesnel .

The 13 acre site was approved by the city in 2007. Construction includes sanitary, storm sewer, water services, and construction of a service street to serve the new area.

Cottonwood River Contracting is a local company.

hahahahaha...I thought we were because we were getting flyers in the paper, but I guess they are hoping we would travel to Quesnel for a Rona Trip, not likely.

This move will not only encourage the locals to shop here more, it will definitely draw more outside shoppers. This is good for Quesnel.
