Wow a free ride home and probably lunch on board. My Dad was flown by air ambulance from Parksville to Vancouver General Hospital where he underwent emergency Bypass surgery. When he was released, he was released out the side door of the hospital and had to find his own way home.
Gotta love the Gov's priorities.
Con-Air flys again. Would it not be cheaper to handcuff these guys to a Greyhound and sent them home by bus. What crime do you have to do to get a flight to Mexcio, count me in.
This is a great program, better then the people continuing to do crimes in our community. The reason why it is done on the RCMP plane should be obvious compared to a bus with public people involved.
It's the RCMP's Pilates plane..flown at rcmp cost which of course is taxpayer cost, but it is the quickest and most effective way to get these goofs out of our city.
If they go Greyhound, let me know which bus so I can take the following one.
Does anyone know how many warrants you have to have to get this free ride home ?
In Nov. I spent the day in court with my ex husband for a child support non payment issue. He has an outstanding warrant for fraud in Calgary, so I informed the Calgary police that he would be in the courthouse, it would of been so easy to pick him up and ship him back to Calgary to face charges, but the day came and went and no one picked him up.
He continues to collect welfare in Prince George(more fraud ) and rip off people with his so called furnace cleaning business (more fraud)
He is appearing in court again in May, maybe he will get his free ride then.I'll be sure to let the court know about the warrant. I sure wouldn't want him to miss his flight.
If indeed it's fraud then you can put an end to it. So do it.
Whats the name of the furnace commpany so that I can avoid this rascal?
Note to self: you don't wanna piss HER off !

;-)

It's too bad we didn't get a chance to wave bye-bye...
"welfare fraud"....
I have question if anyone has an answer...where do you report someone that you KNOW is commiting welfare fraud?
Seems it is not that easy to do, and actually have Social Services pay any attention to the info being given.
Look in the blue pages for their compliance and enforcement section. They have investigators here in town and they do take it seriously and they do prosecute.
Fraud seems to be a hard thing to deal with in our court system, this guy has been in court for fraud many times and only one judge convicted him .
Those free legal aid lawyers are pretty good at defending criminals. There should be a limit on how many times a person can use them.
The furnace company goes under a few names,Andy Bower Cleaning, Dirt Busters, are the two most recent ones used.
Welfare fraud, thats another good one, I did report him to the local social services office, he now has to pay back $10.00 a month.
Family Maintenance Enforcement Program, thats another joke.
Any more questions.
