Hopefully the people attending from PG will take notes during the Road Maintenance & Safety portion of this conference - our roads are a disgrace!
No wonder I can't get most councilors to phone me back, they are too busy? My bad timing I guess. Too busy looking after the big picture and no time for the little business guys.

They say it is nice to be important, but it is more imporatnt to be nice. So I'll leave it at that.
Road Maintenance and Safety? Are you kidding me?

"Showcase our community"? In what way? Every roadway into the city is atrocious - even Highway 16 which was paved last fall is in worse shape than before they paved it - do the contractors have any type of guarantee on the work they do? Were they the cheapest bid? To me that was a total waste of money - its embarrassing when people come here and drive on our roads compared to similar sized cities like Kamloops or Kelowna - no wonder people drive nicer cars there....they have no fear of being swallowed up by a pot hole...
Exactly right southfortguy, lowest bidder gets the contract then they cut corners to make money.
