Williams Lake, B.C. – The site of the largest grow op ever subject to civil forfeiture action in B.C. has now been forfeited to the Province.

The operation was so big, it could have provided one marijuana cigarette to every man woman and child in the province.

In November of 2006, the Williams Lake RCMP discovered more than five and a half thousand plants in a house two adjacent buildings in Likely.

The court has now ruled the property will be handed over to the Province and it will be sold. Under the civil forfeiture act, the Province has seen more than 4 million dollars worth of cash, vehicles and properties forfeited.

"The operation was so big, it could have provided one marijuana cigarette to every man woman and child in the province."

Then we would have had a very mellow few hours in this province. Imagine, everyone happy all at the same time
Be interesting to see what proceedure the government uses to sell the place.
Will they put it up for bids,or list it with a broker,MLS?
Hmmm...
My guess is a bid on some seldom seen and hard to find government website, and it will be sold before anyone even hears about it.
It should be sold on april 20th for a sarcastic piece of history.
one marijuana cigarette.... is that like a joint.
Hey like, you know man, like really. You know like, like Brick shares in the 70's it should be shared by the whole province. Like I'm going to check my mail to see, like I mean, wheres my joint.
Maybe they can fix up the old house and get ICBC to sell it. Wink, wink. Know what I mean?
