Prince George, B.C. – A multi vehicle crash at Domano and Highway 16 last night.

Police say a vehicle making a left hand turn from Highway 16 east was carrying through with that turn as the light started to change.

A westbound vehicle, also clearing the intersection collided with the left turning vehicle. The turning vehicle skidded across the intersection coming to rest on the median, while the other, west bound vehicle hit a third vehicle that was stopped at the light.

One passenger had to be taken to hospital for some stitches. The driver who was turning left was issued a ticket for an unsafe turn.

time for an overpass??
The underpass money should have been used towards a proper grade separation of the intersection. The access to that underpass is also very unsafe.
Small town getting bigger. Same old growing pains. They (governments) won't spend the money necessary to build our roads and intersections properly.
Why don't they just do it right when the G.D. road and intersection is being built; HELLO? OVERPASS NEEDED!!!
How many people have to die or get injured at this intersection (and many others) before the poohbahs wake up?
metalman.
Why don't people just learn how to drive properly would be the simplest fix.
I have had people cut in front of me several times this week at the same intersection just so they can turn off to go to wallymart.
Saw the RCMP under the overpass holding up traffic and collecting revenue. Will they be surprised when some yahoo flies around the corner and plows into someone?
Ya think they'd have a little more common sense.

No sign just before the overpass telling foreigners where Wally Mart is. But seeing it just over the rise makes them wanna turn left across the highway. I guess the provincial government would think that telling people where Walmart is would be construed as advertising for them. Life is full of contradictions, ain't it?
Maybe the new mayor will complete the connector at the top of Ospika when elected. Just like Parkwood mall happened after that Outhouse guy left.
Perhaps if the idiot that caused the crash had been paying attention to driving, we wouldn't be here posting our thoughts on the subject.
