Quesnel Vandals Set Fire

Prince George, B.C. – R.C.M.P are asking for assistance with information regarding a vandalism that occurred on Saturday June 7, 2008 at Lebourdais Park in Quesnel.
 
At approximately 5:22pm two teenage girls were seen spray painting the wall of the stage with gold spray paint. They managed to work their way into the public washroom where they painted the walls, mirrors and toilets before setting papertowel on fire in the sink. 
 
The smoke drifted through the ventilation system into the Quesnel and District Museum and Archives where an employee extinguished the fire before causing major damage.

They are definitely looking for attention. I have some suggestions that will assist them in respecting the property of others. Like spending the rest of their summer cleaning off all the paint that other people just like them left behind.

Oh, I forgot to mention that they would have to forfit their wages as well to pay for the damage they caused. Let's see how many summers they would like to give up. Chester
As a teen in the 1950's, we had more responsibilities than most teens today, and probably just as much if not more fun. Graffiti wasn't considered very smart in those days and wouldn't have got recognition from others, other than an act of a moron.

I like Chester's idea.

The only problem with the whole things were better in the old days arguement is that those kids grew up and raised the kids today that are causing the problems.

There's truth to that, as has for hundreds of generations. Teens should be held accountable for their actions. Blaming their parents and grandparents is a cop-out, it is not the answer to the problem.
