Area bounded in  dark red is subject of  public meeting on July 3rd

Prince George, B.C. -  There is still no final decision on the removal of 1200 hectares of land from the Agricultural Land Commission but the plans for the property are moving forward into a public consultation process.

L&M Engineering’s Heather Oland says the property has been identified as land that would be appropriate for light industrial use and both the City and the land owners would like the process to move ahead “There are many questions which need to be answered and even if we get a partial approval or some conditions , we still need to move through this process.”

The Airport Light Industrial Plan would set the foundation for long range planning and infrastructure for the area.

A public meeting has been set for July 3rd from 7-8 at the Coast Inn of the North, in the Summit Room.

This sounds like a lot of double talk which when translated means they are going to use the land as they see fit regardless what the people say...
"...regardless what the people say..." I say use it, never mind what racer says. I'm not ready to turn the lights out on PG just yet!
I think we said the same thing there yama...
I didn't say don't use it..
I did say I thought the decision has already been made, in my opinion..
Well I wished they would let us in on the bad news then!

Why do you think the ALR committee is taking longer than 10 minites on this one?
They have their wages to collect Yama.....
Lets get it done!

This one man horse hitchin town bitch about any kind of development. Well unless it's a Bingo Hall then people get all happy....

I just want things to expand so we can sell our house!
getajob. Do you mean sell your house and leave town. Heaven forbid anyone should leave the **Jewel of the North** **BCs Northern Capital, and just recently advertised as the ** Serengeti of the North **

How could anyone leave.
Yes after 40 years living here, this clean safe cultured town will be hard to forget!
Yes some Jewel......
Good luck getajob (I mean that sincerely)!

It would be interesting if you could tell us what cities you are considering moving to and what elements of those communities you looked at in making your decision as to what made them an acceptable choice.
