Prince George, B.C. – Travel plans continue to be difficult for anyone travelling Highway 16  east of the junction with Highway 5.  79km of highway east of the junction were closed because of a mud slide.
The highway has just opened to single, alternating traffic.  Weather permitting, the lane will stay open ovrnight tonight.

Rick Daigneault, Manager of The Husky in McBride says people are already giving them an earful, “We have had a few come in and said they are turning back to Prince George and going  to Kamloops to get to Calgary.”
